Chicago Bears cornerback Charles Tillman of Libertyville partnered with Kings Lanes, Lounge & Sports in Rosemont for the second Charles Tillman Celebrity Pro BOWLer Tournament on June 5. The event raised $160,000 for the Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation, which provides opportunities and resources to children and their families in need. Through the Pro BOWLer tournament as well as another partnership with Kings, in which a portion of bowling shoe rentals was donated to the foundation, about $320,000 has been raised in the past year for the foundation. The 350 attendees enjoyed bowling, dining, and meeting celebrities. Celebrity bowlers included current and former Chicago Bears Shea McClellin, Matt Forte, Craig Steltz, Alex Brown, Jermon Bushrod and Johnny Knox; Rashied Davis of the Detroit Lions; former NBA player Antoine Walker; and retired professional football player and son of Walter Payton, Jarrett Payton.
