Tillman Announces Celebrity Quarterback Roster

 Charles Tillman, cornerback for the Chicago Bears, is proud to announce the names of Celebrity Quarterbacks that will join him on Saturday, June 19th, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. for Charles Tillman’s 4th Annual Meijer Celebrity Gridiron Challenge atLake Zurich High School's Football Field, located at 300 Church Street in Lake Zurich, IL. Chicago International Trucks, Coca-Cola, Fifth Third Bank, Meijer, Miller Lite and the Omni Chicago Hotel are proud sponsors of the Gridiron Challenge.
Along with Tillman, several Chicago area celebrities will attempt to lead their team to victory at the annual Flag Football contest, which consists of 16 teams of eight “Regular Joes” and their celebrity play-caller. Current Chicago Bears including Zackary Bowman, Cornelius Brown, Josh Bullocks, Rashied Davis, Jarron Gilbert, Corey Graham, Lance Louis, Joshua Moore, Nick Roach, andQuentin Scott will join in the festivities along with Alfonso Boone – former Chicago Bear (current San Diego Charger), John Tait – retired Chicago Bears offensive lineman, Jason Burns - former Cincinnati Bengal and 670 The Score radio personality – Laurence Holmes.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation, whose mission is to provide opportunities and resources to children or their families who are in need. Since 2005, Charles Tillman's charitable efforts have impacted the lives of over one million Chicago-area children.
Adding to the on-field action, fans are invited to collect autographs from participating celebrity quarterbacks, visit the Cornerstone Fan Zone and more! The Cornerstone Fan Zone will have lots of games and activities for children of all ages. Youngsters will have a chance to win great prizes such as an iPod Touch, register to participate in on-field activities and visit Meijer’s Healthy Living Advisor, Maribel Alchin. Also, a group of trainers from Athlete’s Performance will be on hand to provide proper athletic training information. Special guests, The Jesse White Tumblers, will perform for the audience at 1:15 p.m. to showcase their skills and high flying talent. This event will have something for everyone!
The day will also feature a Proclamation by the Governor to announce that June 19th will be known as Charles Tillman Family Organ and Tissue Donor Awareness Day. Fans will have the opportunity to gather information about organ and tissue donation and register to be an organ donor.
